Slow For Center Road

It’s time to reduce the speed limit and make drivers slow down on Center Road.

Our community is growing concerned about the high speeds on Center Road. Many drivers are exceeding safe-limits, putting pedestrians, cyclists, and other motorists at risk. It’s clear that action is needed to address this problem.

By reducing the speed limit, we can encourage safer driving habits and create a calmer, more livable environment. Slower speeds mean fewer accidents and less severe injuries if they do occur.

We need your support to bring attention to this issue and push for meaningful changes. Join us in our efforts to advocate for a safer Center Road for everyone.

Peninsula Township Neighborhood Meeting

Join us for a Town Hall Meeting to discuss two important community safety initiatives:

  1. Lowering the speed limit on M-37 from 55 mph to 45 mph in our residential areas.

  2. Installing crosswalks and ADA-accessible ramps to protect pedestrians and children.

The more residents who show up and voice support, the better the chance we have of making these changes happen. Let’s come together as a community to advocate for safer streets for our families, children and neighbords.
